The GSAS Writing Studio presents

Columbia doctoral candidate and yoga instructor Camila Agosto facilitates this hybrid workshop designed specifically for graduate students, scholars, and creatives. Together, we’ll explore how mindful breath work and postural alignment can enhance your focus, productivity, and overall well being while you work at your desk. Through guided interactive exercises and gentle practices, you’ll learn how to harness the power of your breath and posture to alleviate tension, boost creativity, and foster a healthier workspace. Leave with practical tools and insights that you can easily integrate into your daily routine, empowering you to navigate your dissertation journey with clarity and ease, all within a supportive community of fellow thinkers and creators.

Location: 321 Lehman and on Zoom (321 Lehman is accessible by elevator)

This workshop is open to all, regardless of mobility, and the facilitator will provide modifications as needed. Because there will be a (gentle, accessible) movement component to this session, participation requires signed submission of the liability waiver included in this form. Please email us at gsas-writingstudio@columbia.edu with any questions or concerns.
